Del Blair, CMI,
is a licensed tax consultant with Brusniak | Blackwell PC. He is a graduate of West Texas State University where he received a BS in Agricultural Business and Economics. Del has over twenty years of experience in the property tax and valuation field. Following graduation, he worked for Dallas Central Appraisal District for five years in the Business Personal Property and Commercial Real Estate Department. Since leaving DCAD, he has worked extensively in the ad valorem property tax area providing consulting and compliance services for local and national clients with both real estate and personal property tax issues. Most recently, he was a Director in the Dallas Office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers for seven years. His expertise includes a wide array of property types including major industrial/manufacturing plants, office complexes, retail properties, hotel buildings, and corporate headquarters. Del is licensed as a Senior Property Tax Consultant in the State of Texas. He is also a member in the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, where he holds the CMI designation. Del is active in the IPT, serving on several committees including the Dallas Fort Worth Local Luncheon and Vice Chair of the IPT Basic School Committee.
